How to Conquer Menopause.

In the last couple of articles I shared with you the great tips on menopause relief, the symptoms on pre-menopause, menopause information and tips to help manage hot flashes .

Today I’m going to tell you about the right way to treat yourself using some menopause relief solutions. Virtually all women going through menopause agree — getting the right information, the right facts, uncovering the truth about menopause at the right time is invaluable.

My discovery — the uncovering of the right information, the right tips, as well as alternative approaches to coping with menopause — was something I needed to share with every women I could.

The menopause relief solutions:-

1. Don't smoke.

2. Eat a healthy diet that is low in fat and cholesterol and moderate in total fat. Your diet should aim to be high in fiber and include fruits, vegetables, and whole-grain foods. It should also be well balanced in vitamins and minerals, including calcium.

3. Lose weight if you are overweight.

4. Take part in weight-bearing exercise, such as walking, jogging, running, or dancing, at least 3 days each week.

5. Take medicine to lower your blood pressure if your doctor prescribes it for you.

6. For vaginal discomfort, use a water-based vaginal lubricant (not petroleum jelly) or an estrogen cream.

7. If you frequently feel an urgent need to urinate, ask your doctor about techniques such as pelvic muscle exercises, biofeedback, and bladder training that can help you improve muscle control.

8. Be sure to get regular pelvic and breast exams, Pap tests, and mammograms. Contact your doctor right away if you notice a lump in your breast.

9. If you are having hot flashes, keep a diary to track when they happen. You may be able to use this information to help find out what triggers them.


Menopause information and tips to help manage hot flashes:-

1. When a hot flash starts, go somewhere cool.

2. If hot flashes wake you at night, try sleeping in a cool room.

3. Dress in layers that you can take off if you get too warm.

4. Use sheets and clothing that are comfortable and made with cotton.

5. Have a cold drink (water or juice) at the beginning of a flash.

It's really quite hard to adjust to a new life as soon as menopause settles in. It's as if everyday could be painful. But, there are cures and treatments that are readily available to help cope with menopause. Regular consultations with the gynecologist are also the best way to have an informed advice regarding this phase.
